PHOENIX — A new community of homes with prices starting at nearly $1 million recently opened in midtown Phoenix.
The Bower Willo is compiled of 28 singe-family homes and is located off of Thomas Road and Central Avenue, not far from the Roosevelt Row Art District in downtown Phoenix.
The community is currently open Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or by appointment anytime.
“With The Bower Willo, the location is a real draw since every resident is just steps from Midtown’s luxury shopping and dining and minutes from downtown’s infectious positive energy,” The Bower CFO Josh Tice said in a press release. “We worked hard to design and build a small enclave of 28 beautiful homes that blend historic charm with modern luxury in the heart of midtown Phoenix.”
A grand opening event — called “Bower Beneath the Stars” — with live music, local artists, wine, and appetizers will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Attendees do need to RSVP in order to secure their spot.

Prospective residents can choose from two- and three-story floor plans that range from 1,800 to 2,400 square feet with three bedrooms and 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms.
The Rooftop Residences at The Bower Willo come with a rooftop patio. Meanwhile, the community’s Heritage Homes have private yards and front porches.
Each single-family home features a gourmet kitchen, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, high ceilings, vinyl plank flooring, Ring doorbell, smart thermostat and a two-car garage that is pre-wired for EV chargers.
“The Bower Willo is the type of of housing that many in the community have been looking for. Beautiful single-family homes that match the historic feel of the community,” CEO of Integrity All Stars, broker for The Bower, Rebecca Hidalgo said in a press release. “Before us, it was to be an APS substation, and instead, it is beautiful homes for people in the community to live in.”
The community is also partnering with Phoenix nonprofit Artlink to provide each resident with an original piece of artwork from local artists. The piece will be valued at $500 and selection of the artwork will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
“Artlink is thrilled to collaborate with The Bower Willo in celebrating the rich artistic and historic spirit of central Phoenix,” Artlink President and CEO Catrina Kahler said in a press release. “Through this innovate art program, they’re creating meaningful connections with Arizona’s artist community and fostering deeper engagement between local artists and Phoenix residents.”
