Restaurant and Bar Design Awards announced its winners for 2025 and a Phoenix restaurant made the cut.
Now in its 17th year, the award recognizes “the world’s most creative spaces and the individuals and organizations behind them — encompassing everything from ultra-luxe fine dining destinations to concept-led fast casual hangouts.”
Ra Ra Room, the exclusive members-only restaurant that Suns’ owner Matt Ishbia added to the Mortgage Matchup Center in early 2025, won the Luxury Category.
Gensler, a globally recognized architectural firm, designed the restaurant, leaning into Art Deco style with marble, velvet drapery, feather-shaped chandeliers and gold accents.
What are the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards?
According to the award website, restaurants pay a fee of £330 – £420 to enter. Categories include five regional awards by continent, including cafe, hotel, standalone, in another space and surface interiors, and 14 global categories, such as alfresco and biophilic design, club/night venue, heritage building and luxury.
Forty-two judges from architecture, design, hospitality and lifestyle chose the winners.
According to the website, “all entries are automatically considered for the Best Restaurant or Bar awards for their region, as well as for the ultimate global awards of Best Overall Restaurant and Best Overall Bar.”
