Explore Western art with free admission to Stockyards museum
All veterans and active-duty military get free admission to check out iconic firearms and Andy Warhol’s artistic depiction of cowboys and Native Americans.

Join several Tarrant cities for Veterans Day ceremonies
Four north Tarrant County cities will host guest speakers, play patriotic music and extend special veteran recognition on Tuesday.

Join in downtown Veterans Day Parade
Participants will gather at the Tarrant County Courthouse and parade down Fort Worth’s Main Street through Sundance Square. This year’s parade theme is “Saluting Vietnam Veterans.” The event is organized by the Tarrant County Veterans Council.

Honor Black soldiers at Veterans Day Honor & Restoration Gathering
Over 500 “Buffalo Soldiers,” a nickname given to the all-Black 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments of the U.S. Army in the late 1860s, are buried at the historic New Trinity Cemetery. The cemetery has deep ties to the Black community of the area.
When: 3 p.m. Nov. 11

Jam out to AHS Benefit Concert for Veterans
The Azle High School Band will host its annual concert in appreciation of the city’s veterans. This year’s show features the Azle High Wind Ensemble & Choir students. All proceeds go to the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
When: 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13
Where: Azle High School Auditorium, 1200 Boyd Road, Azle
Admission: $10-$12; free entry for veterans
