A 75-year-old man is accused of shooting his 52-year-old wife multiple times inside their home in Philadelphia’s Oxford Circle section, police say.
It happened on the 1300 block of Hale Street just before 11 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the wife suffered gunshot wounds to her head and mouth.
She was rushed to the Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police recovered two spent shell casings and a gun from the scene.
Authorities say the couple’s son and his girlfriend were also in the house, but they were not hurt.
