The hit-and-run crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday near the area of 35th Avenue and Roosevelt Street.
PHOENIX — A man is dead after a hit-and-run auto-pedestrian crash in Phoenix on Sunday night, according to the city’s police department.
Police said around 8:42 p.m., officers were called to the area of 35th Avenue and Roosevelt Street due to a crash involving a pedestrian.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a male pedestrian in critical condition.
The Phoenix Fire Department took the man to a nearby hospital, where he later died, according to police.
The vehicle involved reportedly left the scene, officials said.
