Southside Bank has appointed Justin Holt as Fort Worth market president, effective immediately, the bank announced Wednesday.

In his new capacity, Holt will spearhead initiatives that enhance the bank’s value proposition in the region, including commercial and industrial lending, real-estate finance, deposit growth, and collaboration with local civic and business organizations.

“Being a native of Fort Worth and now raising a family of my own in this community, I’m excited to take on this role and continue building on the strong foundation Southside has established in North Texas,” said Holt in a press release. “Fort Worth is a special place, and I look forward to working with our talented team to deepen client relationships, expand local partnerships, and deliver meaningful outcomes for our customers and communities.”

Holt joined the Southside team in 2023 as SVP/ commercial relationship manager. Prior to that, Holt served in various senior leadership positions within the North Texas banking community, including commercial lending leadership, regional executive assignments, and market oversight responsibilities. 

Notably, he previously served as the Tarrant County market leader and regional EVP at Origin Bank.
