Curry composed, dazzled, fuels Warriors win

As the exclamation point to end a 49-point (16-26 FG, 9-17 3PM, 8-8 FT) eruption, Curry hits the game-winning free throws with under 10 seconds remaining to put Golden State up 109-108 — marking the ultimate final margin.

Strong defense from Gary Payton II forced De’Aaron Fox (24 points, 10-22 FG, 10 assists) into a contested midrange fading jumper — which hit the rim twice but ultimately came up short.

Victor Wembanyama finished with a team-high 26 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks. On the possession prior to Curry’s game-winning free throws, the Golden State star drove in transition versus Wembanyama, dropped off a perfect behind-the-back pass to Jimmy Butler, yet still watched Wembanyama read the play and reject Butler at the rim.

No team ever possessed a lead greater than 10 points throughout the contest. For San Antonio, 20 turnovers loom large compared to just 14 for Golden State.

The Warriors earn a win in the vaunted Emirates NBA Cup West Group C, which features the Nuggets, Rockets, Spurs and Trail Blazers, now all tied at 1-1.

40-point triple-double for Harden, Clippers win

James Harden (41 points, 13-25 FG) was in a mode where he’s going to isolate at the top of the floor, get to his spot and hit a shot in your face. Dallas was yesterday’s victim as the Clippers survived a Maverick’s fourth quarter comeback to emerge victorious in 2OT 133-127.

The Mavericks’ offense finding rhythm Friday is nonetheless notable. D’Angelo Russell (28 points, 11-24 FG) is getting more reign as the team’s point guard recently, but his scoring resolve was partially offset by 0-for-6 shooting from beyond the arc and seven turnovers versus just five assists.

That being said, his inclusion helps Cooper Flagg (16 points, 8-13 FG) slide into a secondary creator role, where he can capitalize on different matchups and generate opportunities after the initial action.

Naji Marshall (28 points) was excellent on both ends for Dallas. Ivica Zubac (27 points, 11 rebounds) was efficient en route to his fourth double-double in his last five games.

Houston’s Core-4 dominate Portland

Kevin Durant, Jabari Smith Jr., Alperen Sengun, and Amen Thompson combined to connect on 55.4% of their shots en route to 96 of Houston’s 140 points in a 24-point victory over the Trail Blazers.

Houston also thrived by turning defense to offense, forcing 20 Portland turnovers and converting that into 30 points. In sparkling fashion, the Rockets committed just six turnovers as a team.

Deni Avdija posted a team-high 22 points (7-15 FG), while tacking on 10 rebounds and being plagued by seven turnovers. The 24-year-old has scored no fewer than 22 points in each of his last seven contests, averaging 28.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists over that span. He has emerged as a candidate for Most Improved Player early in the season.

From an Emirates NBA cup standpoint, Portland loses a chance at pole position with their first defeat in Group Play, dropping to an overall margin of -22 while being tied with the Rockets — and all other teams in their group — at a 1-1 record.

Must-see highlight🚨🚨🚨

Although Houston came out on top, Shaedon Sharpe (19 points, 7-16 FG) leaves with a poster and the highest dunk score of the year!

Vintage Stephen Curry👀

Curry is up to 41 points (13-21 FG, 9-16 3PM, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 28 minutes of action thus far. Hitting his blend of dynamic threes and circus shots, the 37-year-old is having success getting downhill as well.

Curry has kept Golden State tight, although the Warriors currently trail 95-88 midway through the fourth quarter on Prime Video.

Double OT on the way‼️‼️

James Harden is in killer shotmaking mode, swishing deep contested threes en route to 37 point (12-23 FG, 6-11 3PM, 7-11 FT). Tacking on 13 rebounds and 11 assists, Harden logs the 82nd triple-double of his career — 7th most in NBA history.

Stellar two-way play from Naji Marshall, headlined by 28 points (8-18 FG, 9-10 FT) and stout point-of-attack defense, combined with strong interior defense from Daniel Gafford and heroics from Cooper Flagg and D’Angelo Russell down the stretch have fueled Dallas overcoming a 15-point deficit in the second half and fighting in overtime.

11:21 PM / NOVEMBER 14, 2025

WEMBANYAMA SLAM🔥🔥

Nearly a travel but it’s clean. Even when you win a defensive possession against Victor Wembanyama, sometimes he just finds a way.

San Antonio leads Golden State 69-68 with three minutes remaining in the third quarter on Prime Video.

Tough-shot making clinic, OT next

Ryan Rollins and Kyle Kuzma were clutch.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been limited to 19 points (9-14 FG) but has 17 assists.

Kon Knueppel answered. Tying the game at 129 after a vicious dunk attempt by Miles Bridges ricocheted directly to the rookie. That’s been his spot tonight too.

Bridges then clamped Antetokounmpo on the final possession, leading to OT basketball.

9:59PM / NOVEMBER 14, 2025

Prolific offense all around, Knicks prevail without Brunson

Landry Shamet delivers a career-high 36 points (12-19 FG) and Karl-Anthony Towns booms for 39 points (31 in the first half) as the Knicks beat Miami 140-132. New York rained in 39.6% of a whopping 53 3PA, as well as only commit eight turnovers.

Jordan Clarkson pops for 24 points (6-13 FG, 9-11 FT). OG Anunoby (hamstring) was forced to exit early.

Miami has been playing through Norman Powell (38 points, 12-22 FG) more on offense, and it’s paying dividends. Powell is averaging 26 points on 45.5% shooting across his last five games entering Friday’s contest.

David Mitchell and Kel’el Ware each had double-doubles — 11 points and 11 assists and 15 points and 10 rebounds, respectively. Miami just had no answer for New York defensively.
