An update has emerged on Benjamin Sesko’s injury after the striker handed Manchester United a scare earlier this month.
The Slovenia international picked up a knee injury during United’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur before the international break. Sesko was only substituted into the game in the 59th minute, but the striker was unable to finish the game due to an injury.
There were initial fears that Sesko could be on the sidelines for a significant length of time, although there have since been suggestions that the injury was not as serious as first feared.
Now, a fresh update has emerged about Sesko’s injury, which includes a potential return date.

Sky Sports have reported that Sesko is expected to be on the sidelines for “at most” a month with the injury he suffered against Tottenham.
The striker did not feature for Slovenia during the international break and is not expected to return for United when they face Everton in the Monday Night Football on November 24.
Sesko is reported to have avoided a serious injury and could return to United’s matchday squad in a few weeks.
If the timeframe for a recovery of a month from the time of the injury turns out to be accurate, he could be involved in the clash against Wolves on December 8.
This timeframe would see Sesko miss United’s Premier League matches against Everton, Crystal Palace and West Ham. If Sesko does not return in time to face Wolves, either, he may also be in danger of missing the clash at home to Bournemouth on December 15.
