Outgoing New York Mayor Eric Adams was introduced before the Knesset during a visit to Jerusalem on Monday, November 17.
Footage posted by Adams shows speaker Amir Ohana welcoming him to the parliament, as representatives cheered and applauded.
“It’s been such an honor to be back in Israel reminding everyone here and back home that our administration will always support the Jewish people,” Adams wrote to X. “Our shared values of freedom and prosperity remain steadfast and I will always stand with you in the fight against antisemitism.”
According to the Government Press Office, Adams said he wanted to send the message that “49 percent of New Yorkers made it clear that they don’t embrace the philosophy of anti Israel.” Credit: Mayor Eric Adams via Storyful
