JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – If you’re a retired teacher looking for the chance to return to the classroom, Duval County Public Schools wants to offer you the opportunity.
The school board will hold two sessions on Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at district headquarters at 1701 Prudential Drive.
Attendees can expect to meet with school principals, learn more about open positions and even participate in on-site interviews, which can lead to same-day offers.
DCPS offers competitive compensation, including a starting salary of $48,700, plus millage up to $7,730, totaling up to $56,430.
