What could be better than living the island life in Hawaii? Having a farm on Maui, of course! Udderly Sudsy is a farm that makes all-natural, handcrafted goat milk soap and skincare products, and they have a whole family of adorable farm animals. Their newest addition is a baby mini donkey named Jasper, and the internet can’t get enough of his cuteness!
In this clip, Jasper looks completely milk-drunk after finishing lunch. He’s so relaxed and content that he curls up for a nap right in the sunshine. It’s absolutely the cutest thing you’ll see today!
Udderly Sudsy is spot on when they say in the caption, “Ohhhh what a life.” Tell us where we can sign up to get that good sleep like Jasper’s getting! Commenter @mtnmania agreed, “I just wanna lay down next to him!” @mauipolodori shared, “It’s the lil milk drunk belly, it’s so full, for me!”
Another commenter added, “Ahhhh, to be a milk drunk donkey in the sunshine. Next life assignment request!” We laughed when @redsnapper274 pointed out, “That head felt like it weighed 1000 pounds. Then, ‘ahhhhhhh’!”

What Does It Mean to Be ‘Milk Drunk’?
If you’ve never heard the term ‘milk drunk’, after watching Jasper, you can probably figure out what it means. Milk Drunk by Bobbie explains, “Milk Drunk, definition: when a baby is so well-fed and happy that they pass out in your arms, give a tinge of a smile, and have little drops of milk dripping down their perfect little cheeks.” Both human babies and animal babies can become milk drunk, and exactly everybody loves to see videos and pictures of it when it happens!
Lauren Crosby, MD, FAAP, explains why it happens, “This is typically a sign that the tummy is full.”
Don’t worry, though, if your baby (human or otherwise) doesn’t get milk drunk because not all babies do. Just like people, every little one has their own quirks and preferences. Some get extra sleepy after a good meal, while others finish eating and are ready to play. As long as your baby is fed, happy, and healthy, their post-meal personality is perfectly normal!
