Multiple shootings and a stabbing were reported across Philadelphia Thursday night into early Friday morning.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the first incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, where a 15-year-old boy was shot and killed and left in the driveway of a home on the 6300 block of Revere St.

Police have now identified the boy as Rasheid Lynch. No arrests have been made yet in this case and the Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334.

Then, police shared that the next shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. on the 9700 block of East Roosevelt Boulevard. An 18-year-old woman had sustained a gunshot wound to her left shoulder and then a 50-year-old man had suffered a graze wound to the head.

Police said the woman was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition, while the man declined treatment. There have been no arrests in this case.

The next incident happened just after 10 p.m. on the 300 block of S. 60th St, according to police. Two people, a 29-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman, had sustained stab wounds. They were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.

According to police, the suspect in this case is described as a woman who was last seen wearing an orange shirt and black tights.

Then, just 30 minutes late, around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, police said officers responded to a shooting on the 700 block of W. Butler St.

At the scene, police said they found that a 50-year-old man had been shot in his stomach. He was transported to the hospital and listed in critical condition.

Police said the suspect in this shooting incident is described as a man who wore a mask.

The next incident happened on Friday, July 4, 2025, just before 1 a.m. on the 6000 block of Market St., according to police. A man is dead and a woman is injured after police said someone opened fire on them while they were sitting in a parked vehicle.

At this time, police said the Homicide Detectives Division is conducting the investigation.

Then, around 4:40 a.m. on Friday, police said officers responded to another incident, this time on the 3300 block of Hartville St. Responding officers found a 33-year-old man with stab wounds to his left arm, right arm, and abdomen. He was transported to the hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. No arrests were made in this case, but police do know the suspect is a man.

Then, about an hour later, around just before 6 a.m., police said officers responded to an area hospital after receiving reports of a gunshot victim. They later learned that the shooting occurred in the area of 10th and Tioga St.

Police said a 44-year-old man has sustained a graze wound to his right forearm and wrist, and he is listed in stable condition. According to police, there have been no arrests made at this time regarding this shooting.
