The Arizona Department of Public Safety tells 12News the crash occurred near the Interstate 10 and 79th Avenue on early Wednesday morning. Here’s what we know.

PHOENIX — The Arizona Department of Public Safety is at the scene of a vehicle that crashed and is dangling off an overpass in Phoenix. One individual was extricated from the vehicle.

The crash happened at the 79th Avenue off-ramp on Interstate 10 on Wednesday morning. 

12News journalists on the ground saw one individual extricated from the vehicle. No update on the person’s condition was given.

DPS said the scene is an active investigation, and no further information was released.
