SAN ANTONIO — Authorities are searching for a 27-year-old woman who police say was kidnapped by a man she had previously been in a relationship with.
Destiny Rose Ferdin was taken early Wednesday morning around 5:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Labor Street, according to the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
Officers were advised that a 35-year-old male suspect had forced Ferdin into a white 2000 Dodge Ram and sped off in an unknown direction. Witnesses told police that Ferdin and the suspect were previously in a relationship.
Ferdin is described as 4’10, 115 pounds, with black eyes and straight, shoulder length black hair. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has also issued a Clear Alert for Ferdin. A Clear Alert is issued for a missing adult who is possibly endangered. According to DPS, the suspect vehicle has Texas license plate HJC6782.
SAPD, Bexar County deputies, and Atascosa County are actively searching for the suspect’s vehicle. No suspect information has been released at this time.
