Details of sexual assault at Phoenix elementary school

Around 12:20 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the school after being called by administrators, Phoenix police said.

The officers discovered that a man who was not authorized to be at the school had made it inside, lured a student into a classroom and sexually assaulted her.

The man, identified by police as Gblah, gained entrance to the school by saying he was part of the maintenance crew, then told the victim, who was on her way to the nurse’s office, that he was a doctor, according to ABC15.

The girl was able to push the suspect away from her. He ran from the school before police arrived, but was found nearby and arrested.
