WILSON COUNTY, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety needs help identifying a woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle in July.
The incident occurred on July 19, 2025, at approximately 2:35 a.m. on US-181, about 0.75 miles north of the FM 775 intersection. That’s about 25 miles southeast of San Antonio.
The woman, who walked into the roadway, was pronounced dead at the scene and remains unidentified.
Officials have released a postmortem rendering created by a Digital Forensic Imaging Specialist, along with a screenshot of the woman at a Subway located at 14028 US-181 before the crash.
