A pedestrian was declared dead at the scene Saturday evening on the 2300 block of Davis Street near Quitman Street in Houston.
The Houston Police Department received a call at 8:24 p.m. for a major crash involving a pedestrian.
Shortly after, at 8:25 p.m., the Houston Fire Department was dispatched to the scene for a report of a person down.
Three HFD units responded, and one of the medics declared the pedestrian dead at 8:33 p.m.
No other transports were made, and dispatch notes did not mention any vehicles involved in the incident.
Authorities have not confirmed if anyone else was involved in the fatality.
