Following a beautiful Saturday of sunny skies and cool temperatures, Sunday afternoon will be a bit cloudier with a slight chance of rain, which will increase throughout the evening.

A 20% chance of rain appears Sunday after 3 p.m. and grows to a 90% chance in the evening, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Temperatures will reach a high of 68 degrees and a low of 57 degrees.

One to two rounds of storms will move west to east through the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Sunday, about 6 p.m., the weather service said. Heavy rain could produce flood conditions, especially for areas that received precipitation earlier in the week, including areas along and north of Interstate 20.

Areas west of Interstate 35 will also have a “very low potential” for severe hailstorms. North Texas could see between one to three inches of rain by Monday morning.
