A large number of police units could be seen in the 2000 block of Commerce Street at about 3 a.m. Monday.
DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that took place early Monday morning downtown, officials say.
According to police, the shooting took place in the 2000 block of Commerce Street.
No officers were hurt in the shooting, police say. It’s not known how many people were involved in the shooting as of 4:30 a.m.
This will have an effect on Monday morning traffic, as Commerce Street will be closed between Harwood and Pearl Streets, and Pearl Street will be closed between Main and Young Streets.
