Dallas is overflowing with holiday magic, big-time sports, and can’t-miss concerts this season — and the easiest way to get there from Fort Worth is to skip the highways altogether.

Trinity Railway Express (TRE) turns the journey into part of the celebration, delivering you straight to festive events, major venues, and even the airport without any of the holiday hassle.

Planning, paying, and boarding is simple with the GoPass app, your one-stop shop for schedules, tickets, trip planning, and real-time tracking.

Ride with Santa to the Dallas Holiday Parade
On Saturday, December 6, TRE transforms into the most joyful train in North Texas with not one but two special Holiday Trains featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus on board.

The Claus family rides along from Fort Worth to Dallas with stops at all 10 TRE stations. The ride ends at EBJ Union Station, where you’ll be greeted with live musical performances, giveaways, and festive photo ops before strolling over to the parade route. Full schedule and boarding options are available online, but plan on arriving early.

Next stop: American Airlines Center
Avoid the parking fees, highway backups, and endless circling around Victory Park: TRE drops you directly at Victory Station, just steps from the American Airlines Center (AAC).

On weekdays and Saturdays, TRE’s regular eastbound and westbound service lines up with events at the AAC, making it your go-to ride to some of the season’s hottest shows. Whether you’re seeing Andrea Bocelli, Dave Chappelle, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Nine Inch Nails, or Cardi B, just hop off the train, grab a hot cocoa (or something stronger) inside the arena, and you’re ready for showtime.

Find upcoming event listings through TRE’s online schedule.

Catch sports without the stress
The real ones know that TRE is the MVP of game-day transportation. Sit back and relax as the train shuttles you straight to Victory Station, giving you plenty of time to get inside, hit the concession stand, and find your seats before the puck drops or the ball tips.

For all Stars and Mavericks games beginning after 6 pm (Monday–Saturday), a westbound train departs 20 minutes after the game ends.

Sunday and holiday games get their own special TRE Game Train, ensuring you never miss your ride home. No gridlock. No surge pricing. No stress. Just cheers, chants, and a smooth ride.

Holiday season, simplified
With reliable Monday–Saturday service (plus special Sunday event trains), TRE connects all the best of Fort Worth and Dallas — concerts, parades, sports, travel, and festive outings — without the stress of traffic or parking. This year, make the holidays smoother, brighter, and a whole lot more fun by letting TRE do the driving.
