SAN ANTONIO – A suspect is at large after a woman says she was held at knifepoint by a man attempting to drag her into an alleyway.

Around 4:52 a.m. on Friday, police were called to the corner of Deneice and Lively on the North Side to meet with a woman who had been reportedly attacked by an unknown suspect.

The victim told police that she was walking home when an unknown male had approached her. She said he pulled out a knife and held it to her throat as he attempted to drag her into a nearby alleyway.

According to police, she was able to fight the attacker off, sustaining minor injuries, and run home. She was not transported to the hospital.
