SAN ANTONIO — A terrifying incident occurred on the city’s Northwest side after a man allegedly threatened multiple residents with a knife.
The incident happened around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning in the 1000 block of Burleson Street when SAPD officers were dispatched for a family disturbance.
The suspect, described as a 56-year-old Black male, allegedly threatened four residents, preventing them from leaving and claiming he would kill them. Fearing for their lives, the residents barricaded themselves in a bedroom until police arrived.
SAPD officers successfully escorted all four residents to safety and transported them to an alternate location. No arrests have been made at this time.
