KINGWOOD – Four Houston firefighters were in the hospital after a crash involving an 18-wheeler in Kingwood.
It happened on the Eastex Freeway and Northpark Drive at about 1:40 a.m. Sunday.
The four firefighters and the driver of the 18-wheeler were taken to the hospital.
The firefighters had serious injuries but were expected to recover.
The condition of the driver of the 18-wheeler was unknown.
Investigators were looking into if the driver of the 18-wheeler was intoxicated.
