PHOENIX — Authorities issued a SAFE Alert Monday morning for a missing 66-year-old man from Phoenix.

Ricardo Gibson was last seen on Saturday in the area of 32nd Street and Cactus Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

He is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 190 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue tank top, gray shorts and gray shoes. He also has a brown cane.

Gibson has a medical condition that can cause him to appear confused and forgetful.

Anyone with information on Gibson’s whereabouts is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-534-2121.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
