Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night mocked President Donald Trump for spending part of his Thanksgiving holiday firing off a lengthy rant on his Truth Social website.

Trump in his holiday message attacked immigrants, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, former President Joe Biden, and more.

Trump wrote that Americans have been “so nice in allowing our Country to be divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at.”

But Kimmel was ready with a correction for the president.

“I hate to be the one to tell you: Our country isn’t being laughed at,” Kimmel said. “They’re laughing at you.”

Trump has always been sensitive about being laughed at, to the point of threatening the late night TV hosts who make jokes about him.

But Kimmel’s joke has the sting of reality: A video earlier this year showed several European leaders sharing a laugh over Trump’s constant confusion between Albania and Armenia.

That happened more than once during his first term, too.

In addition, California Gov. Gavin Newsom ― a frequent Trump nemesis ― said over the summer he’s seen the laughter himself.

“I’ve had the privilege of meeting a lot of foreign leaders,” Newsom said at a Politico event in August. “They’re laughing behind his back.”
