What to Know

  • A FIRST ALERT will be in effect for parts of the Pennsylvania region on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, due to a winter storm bringing a wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain.
  • The storm is expected to move into the region around 4 a.m. and last until 1 p.m., mainly impacting the Poconos, Pennsylvania suburbs and Berks and Lehigh counties.
  • The Poconos is expected to get the highest amount of snow with 4 to 8 inches possible. Berks and Lehigh counties should see 1 to 3 inches while the Pennsylvania suburbs could see an inch or less. Philadelphia will also see some snow during the morning commute but it’s not expected to accumulate.
  • The snow will change to rain for most of the region late morning into the afternoon hours before the system moves out late Tuesday afternoon.
