PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A Philadelphia school is banning plastic disposable water bottles.
Administrators at Baldi Middle School in the city’s Bustleton section say students have been poking holes in the tops of the bottles and squirting water.
Metal and glass water bottles are currently not permitted in the school.
Only reusable plastic water bottles were permitted, but no longer.
The principal plans to host a town hall to address the issue with the school community.
