SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching for a suspect after an altercation-turned-cutting left one person hospitalized.

Around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday, police were called to the scene of a reported cutting near the corner of South Presa Street and Mt Vernon Court.

When police arrived, they found a 36-year-old male with various injuries to his body. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The victim was identified as an employee of Mas Chingon Bar, who was caught in a verbal altercation with a suspect while working.

The suspect, identified as a male between 25 and 30 years old, then pulled a sharp weapon and attacked the victim before fleeing the scene on foot.
