KERRVILLE, Texas – The Kerrville Police Department is expected to release the unredacted 911 calls today from the catastrophic Hill Country floods that struck the region on July 4, 2025.

The disaster that left widespread destruction along the Guadalupe River and claimed multiple lives.

The release follows months of requests filed under the Freedom of Information Act by eight media outlets seeking access to the emergency recordings.

After a detailed legal review, the department, working closely with the Texas Attorney General’s Office, approved the full disclosure in accordance with federal requirements.
