MIAMI– FIU men’s basketball (4-3) has now won three of its last four games and gets set for another ASUN opponent, this time hosting Jacksonville (4-4) at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

The Inbound

The Panthers come in winners of three of their last four, including back-to-back games, and 4-3 is their best start in three seasons. The last game was a solid win over FGCU, in which FIU had six different players score 10 or more points in an 89-83 final. The team also went a season-best 30-35 from the line.

Jacksonville enters the game at 4-4. Jordan Mincy’s squad just played Florida A&M and earned an overtime win over the Rattlers in Jacksonville.

Series History

These two teams have only ever met once in program history at the Red Diamond Roundball Classic in Mobile, Ala. in 2016. The Dolphins beat the Panthers 78-75 in overtime despite 23 points from Panther Donte McGill and 19 & 8 from Michael Kessens on 11/19/16.
