A classic rock band has reunited with its original singer and made a big change to its setlist.
Foreigner performed with co-founding vocalist Lou Gramm at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., on Thursday. The show featured a live performance of the rare song “Luanne” for the first time in 40 years.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Foreigner hadn’t performed “Luanne” in concert since 1985. It was the fifth and final single from the band’s 1981 album, “4,” which Foreigner is celebrating with a deluxe reissue and a small number of “Foreigner 4 Deluxe Tour” dates with Gramm.
The setlist change follows an update to the band’s lineup after longtime Foreigner singer Kelly Hansen stepped down in October. Luis Maldonado is the new lead vocalist, sharing the stage with Gramm, bassist Jeff Pilson, keyboardist Michael Bluestein, guitarist Bruce Watson and drummer Chris Frazier.
Gramm, an Upstate New York native, is expected to join Foreigner for additional “Foreigner 4 Deluxe Tour” dates this month including concerts Sunday in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; and Thursday in Montclair, N.J.

In 2026, Foreigner will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a handful of orchestral concerts in March followed by the “Double Trouble Double Vision” summer tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd, including an Aug. 23 show at the Broadview Stage at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) in Saratoga Springs. It’s unclear if Gramm will make any appearances, but he previously said he plans to retire from performing sometime next year.
Concert tickets are currently on sale on Ticketmaster, as well as Vivid Seats, StubHub, and Seat Geek.
Foreigner is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group known for 1970s and ‘80s hits like “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Hot Blooded,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” and “Cold As Ice.” Gramm, a Rochester native who currently lives in Webster, N.Y., co-founded the band with guitarist Mick Jones, who is the only original Foreigner member still permanently in the group but he no longer performs due to Parkinson’s disease.
