NEW YORK (PIX11) — If your weekend plans involve venturing into the city, you might want to bring the snow boots and umbrella.
Forecasters from the National Weather Service warn that a light snowfall and freezing drizzle could pass over New York and New Jersey on Saturday. Aside from that, clouds are expected to hang over the city for the rest of the day.
Those venturing out should also be sure to bundle up, with temperatures expected to reach a high of 41 degrees and a low of 34 degrees.
Sunday is expected to be dry, however, cold will linger with highs in the 40s and lows around 29 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
