You heard it right — A24’s newest sports dramedy is bringing its vintage table tennis world to the City of Angels a full week before its global release.
Directed by Josh Safdie and set in the 1950s, Marty Supreme follows the extraordinary true story of table tennis champion Marty Reisman, with a standout cast including Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Tyler, the Creator.
While the film officially opens nationwide on December 25, L.A. fans get a special series of early 70mm screenings December 18–24, complete with exclusive surprises for attendees. Grab your tickets before they’re gone!

After declaring at last year’s SAG Awards that he wants to be “one of the greats”, Timothée Chalament is off to a stellar start. Hailed as his best performance yet, Chalamet embodies Marty Mauser, a young man with a dream no one respects, who goes to hell and back, also in pursuit of greatness.
The film premiered in a secret New York Film Festival screening to a massive standing ovation and has been referred to by Variety‘s chief awards editor as “the dark horse the Oscar race didn’t realize it needed.” Seeing it early in 70mm might just be the ultimate way to experience all the intensity, charm, and high-stakes ping-pong action on the big screen.
