Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson responded to invasive comments from NBA star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander after a fake pregnancy announcement went viral

Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson is not expecting: an unmarked parody account on X called ‘Hoops Crave’ shared a photo of Wilson with her boyfriend – Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo – alongside an ultrasound image.
However, there appears to be mounting anticipation that Wilson and Adebayo will wed and begin a family. Wilson, who was recently crowned TIME’s Athlete of the Year, discussed her romance with Adebayo in her feature with the renowned publication, revealing they’re eager to start a family someday. “That is always a dream,” Wilson expressed when questioned about motherhood. “This is my life partner. Honestly, what on earth was my world before you? That’s how much he’s impacted my life, my family’s life.”
Wilson secured her third WNBA championship this season with the Aces, claiming the Finals MVP trophy for the second time. This follows the forward earning her fourth MVP award and third Defensive Player of the Year recognition.

She’s also anticipating Adebayo’s proposal. “That’s the question I need you to deliver to him!” she responded when asked about their wedding plans, reports the Mirror US.

“I hope I’m not wasting my time. I hope he’s not wasting his time.”
Adebayo, a three-time All-Star and five-time All-Defensive team member himself, was questioned by TIME about his girlfriend. “As the young people say, that’s ‘twin,'” he said of Wilson.
“That’s what makes it so great. We’re striving for the same thing. We want each other to be better. We want to make it easier on one another, and we want to do this together. She’s a strong Black woman, man, and she does it with so much grace and positivity.”
The couple began their romance four years ago but only made their relationship public last year, maintaining privacy around many details of their personal lives.

However, following her discussion about her relationship with Adebayo in the TIME piece, former ESPN journalist Rachel Nichols recently questioned Oklahoma City Thunder standout Shai Gilgeous-Alexander about whether he believes Thunder General Manager Sam Presti – renowned for his talent evaluation skills – might scout Wilson’s unborn child.
“Sam takes his job very seriously, and whatever it takes to be great, he will do,” SGA replied.
The video went viral across the internet, sparking reactions from both Wilson and Adebayo.
“You don’t think this a lil strange orrrr weird..??? I guess it’s a slow day in the office,” Wilson posted on X. “This is why privacy matters,” Adebayo commented.
