The Greater Fort Worth Association of REALTORS® (GFWAR) installed its 2026 Board of Directors, including the Installation of Shawn Buck, United Real Estate DFW Properties, as Board President during the annual installation event on December 18.
“As we begin a new chapter, I’m proud to lead an organization that isn’t afraid to innovate and evolve,” Buck said. “The talent and passion of our board and members puts us in a position to make significant progress for homeowners in the year ahead.”

Buck has been actively involved with GFWAR and the Board of Directors since 2017. He currently works as a Broker Associate with United Real Estate DFW Properties, specializing in residential real estate. Graduating from Texas Tech University, Buck served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a crew chief on an HC-130P aircraft with a Combat Search & Rescue unit. During his service, he completed tours in Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Africa, and he was involved in international hurricane rescue missions. He has a strong desire to give back to the veteran community, volunteering with Big Country Veterans and Folds of Honor.
The Board of Directors serves as GFWAR’s governing body, setting the association’s strategic vision.
