On Wednesday, December 3, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Women’s Committee hosted its annual Holiday Boutique Preview Party at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford.

The sold-out fundraiser welcomed about 500 guests for food, cocktails, desserts, and early access to shopping from 38-plus vendors offering clothing, jewelry, wreaths, chocolates and more all benefitting CHOP’S patient programs and research.

This year’s event celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Holiday Boutique and raised approximately $640,000 to support various hospital grants and initiatives.

Event co-chair Lainey McMahon said, “For over a century, the CHOP Women’s Committee has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of patients and families through philanthropic support. At the heart of that mission is the Holiday Boutique, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year!”

“This event has directly supported hundreds of initiatives, programs, and research at CHOP. I am honored to be co-chairing this beloved holiday tradition with my friend Caroline Linz, and I know I speak for our entire committee when I say we are touched and humbled by the outpouring of support and excitement for this year’s event,” she said.

“Thanks to the sponsors and attendees we already are well on our way to break records! As we enter the season of giving, I am so grateful for the opportunity CHOP gives us to reflect on the patients and that our efforts have helped those that will be impacted in the future,” McMahon said.
