PHOENIX — A Valley family honored a beloved teacher by holding a toy drive in his honor. Loved ones of David Denogean, 30, are determined to keep his memory alive.

Denogean was shot and killed in Phoenix in 2022. His case has since gone cold, but his family hopes events like Saturday’s one keep his spirit around.
“Everyone just keep coming together and donating to make this event really big, and I’m just so happy and grateful,” said Daniel Denogean, David’s brother.
Each year, the toy drive gets bigger.
“We’ve had a lot of people come out and contribute to making this bigger than what it has been in the past years,” said Daniel Denogean.

Police are asking anyone who might have information about his murder to come forward.
Silent Witness is offering up to a $20,000 reward for anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest in this case.
The reward was partially raised by the Denogean family, and they’re continuing to raise money in hopes it helps someone come forward. Click here to donate.
