Philadelphia’s favorite winter destination just got even cooler. The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) and Charles Jacquin et Cie, Philadelphia’s historic spirits brand, have teamed up to launch Après Sip & Skate Presented by Jacquin’s — a brand-new series of adults-only skate nights coming to the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest this January and February 2026.
Building on the success of Jacquin’s Porch Bar, which debuted earlier this season, Après Sip & Skate is where Philadelphia’s social scene meets winter wonderland charm. Designed exclusively for guests 21 and over, this after-dark experience combines ice skating, live DJ sets, an open bar with curated Jacquin’s cocktails, and delicious s’mores — all with cozy après-ski lounges and spectacular views of the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Running select Wednesdays — January 14, January 28, February 11, and February 25 — each event offers private evening rink access from 7 PM to 10 PM, complete with a lively, laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect for date nights, groups of friends, or anyone who wants a fun twist on Philly nightlife. Tickets are just $35 per person, which includes a three-hour open bar featuring Jacquin’s cocktails, local beers, wines, and sweet fireside treats (skate admission and rentals sold separately).
For more than 30 years, Winterfest has been the cornerstone of winter fun in Philadelphia, attracting over 250,000 visitors each season. With Après Sip & Skate, DRWC and Jacquin’s are adding a touch of elevated excitement while celebrating local partnerships, community connection, and the city’s signature spirit.
So lace up, raise a glass, and enjoy winter on the waterfront like never before at Après Sip & Skate Presented by Jacquin’s — where Philly’s energy meets riverside relaxation.
