The Jacksonville Jaguars clinched their playoff spot during Monday Night Football when the Indianapolis Colts lost to the San Francisco 49ers. Jaguars players and fans were surely be tuned in to watch their division rival and see if they can punch their postseason pass.
How the Jaguars clinched a playoff spot
Now that Jacksonville has 11 wins, they needed one of the teams in the AFC wild card picture to pick up their seventh loss to secure a playoff spot. When the Colts lost Monday, their best possible record would be 10-7 and they would be unable to match or pass the Jaguars.
A Colts loss also secured playoff spots for the Bills and Chargers for the same reason.
