WorkSource plans job fair for July 16 in Vancouver

WorkSource, a partnership project of local businesses and public and nonprofit agencies, will host a hiring event July 16 in Vancouver.

The free event is 10 a.m. to noon at the WorkSource office, 204 Stonemill Drive, Suite 215.

Job candidates who attend are encouraged to bring resume copies, dress for job interviews and be prepared to meet and interview with hiring managers.

Employers expected to attend include Charter College, Legacy Health, Multnomah County, Platt Electric, Sprinkler Fitters Local No. 669, the U.S. Postal Service and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Caregiver, carpenter’s apprentice, commercial truck driver, cook, technician and letter carrier are among the positions to be filled.
