SAN ANTONIO – Police need your help identifying human remains discovered earlier this month in a field on the city’s Southwest Side.
Officers located the remains on December 9 in an empty lot in the 7000 block of Quintana Road, just north of Southwest Military Drive.
According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, the remains belong to an adult male. Investigators believe the individual was Hispanic, between 25 and 48 years old, and stood approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
Police released these images of clothing found at the scene in hopes that a friend or family member might recognize them.
“Help us bring peace of mind to a family this holiday season,” the department said in a statement Tuesday.
Police have not yet determined a cause of death or how long the remains had been in the field.
Anyone with information regarding the man’s identity or the circumstances of his death is urged to contact the SAPD Homicide Unit at 210-207-7635.
