Sleek, sophisticated and near the action makes this property at 1217 Dorothy Lane a perfect Christmas present.
Dear Santa,
It’s been a long time since I’ve sent you a written request for Christmas, but I’ve been very good girl and am so very deserving. It’s only one item, and you don’t even need to put a bow on it.
I’ll take the property at 1217 Dorothy Lane, Number 4, in Fort Worth. Now you’ll have to rush to get it because it’s one of only seven residences connected to Bowie House, you know, the bougie boutique hotel where the Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman”? A part of the Auberge Collection is good enough for me, Santa Claus.
They’re pretty fancy places to hang out, which suits me well. This one, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms, measures 2,744 square feet. That would be just dandy for my husband, me, and a couple of fun friends.
Santa Claus can purchase the furnishings from the interiors designed by Matt Mazur.

Those friends definitely would be impressed. The just completed “condo regime” comes with Venetian plaster walls and ceilings, a floating staircase, wide-plank white oak floors, a skylight and of course, a fireplace, where you make your entrance. Interior designer Matt Mazur designed it, so it’s very stylish. All the furniture there now could be purchased for me, too, but I don’t know if I should really ask for that, too.
“It’s basically a penthouse attached to the Bowie Hotel,” said my new friend, Hanna Sutherland, a sales agent with Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who just happens to have this listing ready for you to purchase at $5.488 million. “How nice is that?” she asked, and I would have to say that’s really pretty nice.
No need for Santa to bring a pool table because a billiard room is just one of the perks.
With Christmas Day forecasts calling for 70-plus degrees, sitting by the pool could be an option.
Living in a hotel has always been a fantasy for me, so that’s part of what makes this the perfect present. If you get me the keys to this house, all the perks of Bowie House come with them. Of course, there’s a pool and hot tub, but there’s way more. A private dining room, 24-hour fitness center, a billiard room, and Bowie House room service are part of the deal.
But wait…there’s still more. The hotel has a Saks Fifth Avenue suite. When I get invited to a party and need a new frock, the nice Saks people actually will bring me things to try and help me get ready. Like a fairy godmother.
All anyone needs is a toothbrush, but the Bowie House room service can deliver that, too.
Bowie House Perks
The location is perfect for me, too. Just next to Fort Worth’s cultural district would be so convenient…so much fun with the restaurants and the museums! And if swimming in the pool, shopping in the Saks suite and dining in the Bowie House restaurant makes me too exhausted to walk, living in one of these seven residences would allow me to call upon one of the three Lexus SUVs to shuttle me to and fro, and to and fro.
Sigh.
I think this townhouse would be a perfect Christmas gift for a girl like me. I think I’d be just darling living there. And, like I said, I’ve been really good. Or at least pretty good.
Love,
Joy
Landscaping choices are handled already.
