Amanda Balionis appears to be enjoying her break from the PGA Tour.

Balionis, 39, has been covering the PGA Tour for CBS Sports since 2017. She covers countless tournaments, including the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club. Her ability to constantly conduct excellent interviews on the course can’t be ignored.

She also was a contributor to Turner Sports’ coverage of the PGA Championship,” her bio for Paramount states. “Balionis began her career as a sideline reporter for Verizon Fios Channel 1 covering high school sports. From 2009 to 2011, she served as a reporter for high school sports at MSG Network, including providing color commentary for the network’s coverage of high school volleyball. Balionis joined the PGA TOUR as in-house reporter and host in 2011, producing and reporting tournament highlights and events.

“Stunning,” one person commented.

“Heck yes,” a second person wrote.

“Hi Amanda, You are an amazing golf analyst & an amazing person. Have a great holiday,” an Instagram user said.

2025 hasn’t been easy for Balionis.

Roughly three months ago, Makena White passed away at the age of 28. The girlfriend of PGA Tour star Jake Knapp was beloved in the golf community.

“Getting to know Makena was one of my favorite parts of this last year,” Balionis wrote. “So much laughter, passion and she never met a stranger. I will miss her light… it touched so many.”

We’re certainly hoping Balionis and everyone impacted by this tragic loss have a happy and healthy holiday season.
