An arrest has been made in a homicide that occurred earlier this month outside a Fort Worth motel.
Jacqueline Rodriguez, 23, was booked into the Tarrant County jail Tuesday in connection with the death of 37-year-old Stephanie Gonzalez. Rodriguez faces a murder charge, and her bail has not yet been set, jail records show.
Officers were dispatched early Dec. 12 to a motel in the 1800 block of Jacksboro Highway, where they found Gonzalez had been shot in the abdomen.
Gonzalez was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
According to a news release from police officials, the shooting occurred after Gonzalez and another person, who was not identified, arrived at the motel to recover a stolen vehicle.

Two people who were inside the vehicle then ran from the scene, police said.
It was not immediately clear what led authorities to Rodriguez, who remained in custody Wednesday.
