Dallas police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man who was shot and killed in West Dallas early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1800 block of Sylvan Avenue at about 2:52 a.m., according to Dallas police.
When officers arrived, Juan Cardoza was found with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Police said the suspect, Michael White, remained at the scene and was taken to Jack Evans Police Headquarters. It was unclear whether White would face charges or if he’d been booked into jail.
