A suspect in the murder of a St. John’s man nine days ago remains too incapacitated to answer to the charge.
Forty-seven-year-old Doug Yetman was rushed to hospital, reportedly with self-inflicted injuries, after police closed in last Tuesday night.
Court has been told that no one has been able to speak with him since he was admitted, due to his injuries and sedation.
That has also prevented a judge from reading the formal charges to him.

Two other men, 42-year Darryl Little and 28-year-old Peter Campbell, are also charged with the murder of a 41-year-old man in a house on Empire Avenue West on December 21.
They remain in custody with court dates on January 14.
Yetman’s case was called Monday, yesterday afternoon, and will be called again this morning for an update on his condition and fitness to answer to the murder charges.
