Ice Spice ended the year by breaking the internet with a new selfie.
The Bronx rapper posted a gym selfie on her Instagram story, wearing teal fitness gear, saying, “Ending the year on the big guy side of things.”

One commentator branded Ice Spice a “Generational rapper.” Another in defense of her said, “They tried to make me hate you.”
But the comments also revealed how discussions about a female athlete’s fitness can escalate into discussions of her body as public property.
Other statements were blunt.“I would give up my firstborn so I could hit.”
A man attempted to quantify desirability when they said, “You could be a 4/10, but your ass might carry you to a 7/10.”
Another harsh criticism continued, “Girls need to know how stupid this situation looks. It’s only thirsty dudes who are talking about this.”
This comment addressed both Ice Spice and her audience, attacking the economy of attention in which women are penalized for exuding confidence.
