PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — An Action News viewer captured dramatic video of flames shooting from the rooftop of a building in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood.
Fire crews responded to the blaze along the 1500 block of Frankford Avenue just before midnight on Thursday.
The flames appeared to be coming from an HVAC unit on top of the building.
As the Action Cam arrived on the scene, firefighters were seen climbing onto the roof of the building that houses offices for City Fitness, next to the popular restaurant Suraya.
PECO crews also responded to cut power as a precaution.
It’s unclear how much damage the fire caused, but authorities say no injuries were reported.
