Hailee Steinfeld might have a pitch perfect name in store.
The True Grit star—who is expecting her first baby with husband Josh Allen—hinted at what the baby’s name could be in a Jan. 2 post to her Beau Society Substack, sharing a photo of a knit sweater under a Christmas tree, embroidered with the name, “Baby Beau.”
The Oscar winner also shared more snaps, including several pics with Josh as she reflected on 2025, writing about the “milestones, growth and moments that have reshaped me in ways I’m still processing.”
And when it comes to the name Beau, as Hailee had previously explained, it holds a very special meaning for the 29-year-old and her family.
“Before I was born,” she recalled to fans in a November newsletter, “my parents couldn’t decide whether to name me Hailee or Bailee.”
“Obviously, they landed on Hailee,” she continued, “but still liked the sound of Bailee, so they started calling me ‘Hailee Beau Bailee’, which we shortened to Beau.”

She added, “It’s a childhood nickname that I never dropped.”
Hailee—who tied the knot with Josh in May—first shared the news of her pregnancy in a December newsletter on her Substack, posting a video of Josh kissing her growing belly.

At the time, she celebrated turning 29, writing, “28 was wild, beautiful, humbling, and full of the kind of moments that sneak up and change you quietly. This year, I’ve been reminded of how precious life is.”
And the Hawkeye actress and Buffalo Bills quarterback were “of course” thinking about children after getting married, with Hailee sharing how meaningful her new life with Josh has become.
“That inner peace that you have, that rock, that solid, consistent part of your life is indescribable,” she told Bustle in November. “I literally thank God every day that I found my person, and it’s the greatest thing in the world. Life makes sense. Everything makes sense. I feel like I am stepping into the version that I’ve always dreamed of being, having so much to do with being with him.”

And Josh was equally excited about stepping into his new role amid the support he and Hailee experienced from those around them.
“The love that I’ve received from my teammates and friends? It’s been really cool,” he said in a December post-game interview. “It’s a special moment in [me and] my wife’s life.”

Just a few months after their engagement, Josh and Hailee officially made their red carpet debut at the NFL Honors, where he was named MVP. And during his acccepance speech, he gave her a heartfelt shoutout.
“You’ve been my rock and my best friend,” he told her. “I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”

They said “I do” in a stunning California wedding ceremony, where she donned a strapless bridal gown with elbow-length gloves.
