A 70-year-old woman has died after a pair of vehicles collided Saturday afternoon just outside Russell, Ont.
Ontario Provincial Police alerted people to the crash on North Russell Road near Route 200 in a social media post at around 2:40 p.m.
OPP spokesperson Bill Dickson later told Radio-Canada that a 70-year-old woman had been taken to hospital and pronounced dead.
Police continue to investigate.
As of 7:45 p.m., roads were still closed near the scene of the collision.
